Miley Cyrus to Appear in Sex and the City Sequel?

This might explain why Miley Cyrus always flashes two fingers at photographers...

According to sources on the set of the Sex and the City sequel, the Disney star will make a cameo in the highly-anticipated comedy. A script page has even blocked out October 16 as the day Cyrus will shoot.

“They’ve asked her,” said an insider. “But she hasn’t confirmed. Right now, they’re just holding the space for her.”

What role might Miley play in the movie, which will be released on May 28, 2010?

Shots of Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker confirm that the quartet of main characters flashes back to the 1980s at one point in the story. Could Cyrus play a younger version of Charlotte? They have a similar hair color.

Then again, perhaps she'll simply appear as a stripper in a club. Everyone knows she has experience in that area.

Jon Gosselin Denies Hailey Glassman Breakup

For those of you who may be devastated and on the verge of plunging into deep existential crises after your faith in love was irreparably shaken, good news:

Jon Gosselin and Hailey Glassman are still together. Exhale with us now.

Jon took the time to make it known that despite reports to the contrary, he and new girlfriend Hailey Glassman - a.k.a. Jon's soul mate - are going strong.

"We're together and happy as ever," the player revealed today.

"In fact, [Hailey] is with me in Pennsylvania for the first time!"

Gotta introduce the kids to their new mom at some point, right?

Both were in good spirits and laughing about a new celeb gossip story claiming that Hailey put the kibosh on the romance because of Jon's alleged cheating.

Not the case. Despite rumors of Jon hooking up with a bevy of mediocre girls, he's a one-woman man. And he loves her more than he ever did his ex-wife.

So he said this week in a bitter, no-holds-barred interview this week with ABC's Good Morning America and Primetime in which he did not mince words.

Among other choice sound bites, Jon said, in no uncertain terms: "I despise Kate." The kids will love that in a few years when they discover the Google.

Nicole Richie Tweets About Sparrow

It is only fitting that Nicole Richie, who just became a mom for the second time, took to Twitter to tweet for joy about her new baby bird ... er, boy, Sparrow.

After the birth of their son yesterday Nicole and fiance Joel Madden each went online to express their love for themselves publicity Twitter itself their child.

"What a great day to come back on Twitter," Nicole wrote, somehow without sarcasm. "Thank you everyone for your well wishes. I love my family!!"

That's good. We wouldn't have believed it, and it probably wouldn't even be true if she hadn't written about it online for 639,351 of her closest friends.

Joel also lamely Twittered props to his son: "1st day of his life & my son is already a trending topic on twitter. That's right son, ur just like your old man."

We're happy the baby is healthy and all, guys, but get a life. Go hang out with Sparrow. Occasional updates are great, but so is the idea of moderation.

Robert Pattinson: Risking It All For Love!

New Moon spoiler alert:

In the upcoming sequel to Twilight, Edward Cullen runs away because his love for Bella Swan is simply too dangerous.

In real life, however, the exact opposite scenario is playing out for Cullen's portrayer, Robert Pattinson. His love for Kristen Stewart may be a major risk, but, like Meatloaf, the actor will do anything for it!

Like thumb his (hot!) nose at the movie studio, a source tells OK! in its latest issue.

“The producers took Rob and Kris aside and told them to keep their relationship under wraps for a few more months,” said an insider. “But they’re so much in love, they can’t keep their hands off each other.”

Of course they can't. Have producers seen Robert Pattinson?!? It's hard enough for us to keep our hands off our computer screen right now.

Summit Entertainment, the studio behind the Twilight Saga, is reportedly worried that a full-fledged Robsten romance will ruin the allure of the Jacob/Bella relationship in New Moon.

“They’re crazy about each other, and they want to shout it from the rooftops,” said a source on the Eclipse set, as the third film in the franchise is currently shooting in Vancouver. “But they’re also part of this massive machine called Twilight and producers have this thing timed with scientific precision. They don’t want Rob and Kristen to tell the world about their relationship until the time is right.”

Good luck getting Robert on board with that, however! The actor is too smitten with his co-star to keep his feelings under wraps, the same source adds.

“Rob’s whole world is Kristen. I’m surprised he even knows his lines because he’s so absorbed with her. He has no time whatsoever for his guy friends and has cut virtually everyone off so he can spend every waking moment with Kristen. He’s all about his woman.”

Makes sense. After all, according to the tabloid pictured above, Pattinson and Stewart are engaged. Wouldn't you choose your future wife over work?

Give The Vampire Diaries a Chance!

While fans continue to buzz over New Moon, at least one person hopes their appetite for attractive blood suckers is still strong.

L. J. Smith, the author of The Vampire Diaries series of novels, posted the following message on her website this week. She'd very much like for you to watch this new CW series:

May I make a plea for everybody to try to be patient (especially with the pilot episode)? The Twilight Zone feeling rapidly diminishes after that. Ian Somerhalder is being recognized as a superior villain; and I feel sure that under those brown curls Elena’s scheming mind is simply waiting for an opportunity to emerge.

I’ve waited this long to speak out, and my verdict is: give it a chance.

Making the media rounds for her role on Melrose Place, Ashlee stopped by The Rachel Ray Show (her interview airs September 15), where she said getting impregnated with the spawn of Pete Wentz didn’t affect her physical prowess.

"They seemed very laid back and were very friendly to the staff and fellow patrons," an eyewitness said, noting that the two called it an early night.

Vanessa and Nick, who split in June, clearly couldn't keep away from each other for long. They have been spotted in NYC and LA in recent weeks.

Prince Harry, Chelsy Davy Getting Back Together?

Following recent rumors that Prince William and Kate Middleton are planning to marry (sometime before 2012) come reports that Prince Harry is preparing to reunite with longtime girlfriend, Chelsy Davy, with whom he broke up early this year.

Wouldn't that be something?

The hot pair have met on a number of occasions over the summer both in London and at the house Harry shares with William in Shropshire, England.

"Harry is still besotted with her and she can't get him out of her head, even though she's been seeing other guys," a friend of Prince Harry said.

"I don't think that he and [Chelsy Davy] have fully resolved some of the problems between them yet but we all think they'll give it one last shot."

The Daily Mail reports that the two are exchanging messages on Facebook. The pair will meet up this weekend at Prince Harry's 25th birthday party.

Elisabetta Canalis & George Clooney: The Next Brangelina?

We've been hearing the rumors.

Beginning in late July, people began speculating that George Clooney was seeing Elisabetta Canalis nude. This was pretty much established as (lucky) fact.

Well, now he's gone public with his new flame, putting any doubts to rest.

Well, going public is a stretch. They keep a low profile, but aren't hiding.

The day before the premiere of his movie, Men Who Stare at Goats, the couple made an arrival at the Venice Film Festival in the famed European city.

In any case, Clooney and the woman better known to local media as "La Canalis" or simply "Eli" have been inseparable the past three weeks.

Clooney was introduced to his new love interest in Rome, but apparently "carried a torch for Eli" even while still dating now-ex Sarah Larson.

Jon Gosselin: I Despise Kate

There wasn't exactly any love lost between Jon and Kate Gosselin when we woke up today, but the estranged spouses' war of words was kicked into another gear after Jon's latest outburst on Good Morning America this morning.

He's said she treated him like a lame fish, and was beaten down and abused by his grating spouse - but he never referred to her as "someone I despise."

Until today.

It's a far cry from a few weeks ago, when he said he still loved Kate Gosselin as his children's mother. Now he can't even tolerate the thought of her.

GMA interviewer Chris Cuomo even questioned Gosselin's choice of words and said he should "be careful," but Jon reiterated that he does despise Kate.

The reason? Filling their 10 years of marriage with anger and abuse, and not even projecting a truthful representation of the couple to the media.

Becoming increasingly agitated as he was shown contrasting celebrity gossip magazines featuring Kate and himself, Jon basically called Kate out for what he considers a huge act, for degrading their marriage, shoplifting his manhood and more.

Kate Gosselin didn't just steal Jon's pride and 10 years of his life – she also swiped his wedding ring, he claims, while still wearing hers "for show."

He put down the ring one day, saying "I'm done," only to have it disappear a few days later, with Kate the only person who could have taken it.

Jon says he's cried "more in the last eight months" than in his entire life, due to pent up frustration with Kate and having "no voice in the media."

At least he's remedying the second part of that.

Kristen Stewart says people hardly recognize her

‘Twilight’ star Kristen Stewart has revealed that people hardly recognize her on the streets.

Stewart, 19, who plays co-star Robert Pattinson’s onscreen love interest in the vampire franchise, has not been getting the same attention as he.

And she admits that it is perhaps because fans fail to notice her or they are too intimidated to approach her. 

“Really, people don’t recognise me often. I think I just look different in person or something. I’m also not very approachable, and maybe they’re thinking, ‘Ooh, she’s scary,’” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

Hilary Swank says there was no ‘spark’ when she first met beau John Campisi

Hilary Swank has said that there was no initial ”’’spark”” between her and new beau John Campisi because both of them were nursing a broken heart at the time, and their romance was completely “unexpected”.

Hilary was in the process of divorcing Chad Lowe when she started working with John in May 2006.

“There was no spark. What’’s interesting is, there was never anything. It wasn”t until we were well into the dissipation of our respective relationships. Going through something so difficult at the same time, we became very good friends. We became closer and closer,” Contactmusic quoted Swank as telling Britain’’s Hello! Magazine.

“It was so unexpected. We both recognised that if we were going to take the relationship to the next step, we could no longer work together,” she added.

While the 35-year-old star has no intention of marrying John, 41, in the near future, she hopes to start a family with him one day.

She even enjoys spending time with his son Sam, from a previous relationship.

American actress Evan Rachel Wood is reportedly dating her ‘True Blood’ co-star Alexander Skarsgard.

According to celebrity blogger Perez Hilton, Wood, 22, had recently been linked to E.R. actor Shane West, but is said to have moved on to Swedish actor Skarsgard, 33, after meeting him on the set of the hit vampire TV show, reports Contactmusic.

The pair have been spotted enjoying a string of dates, including a soccer match and a boat trip.

Wood even jetted into Louisiana over the weekend to keep the actor company during breaks from filming the ‘Straw Dogs’ remake.

Selena Gomez: The Anti-Miley Cyrus

Miley Cyrus has spent her summer Tweeting and possibly stealing Liam Hemsworth from another woman.

Conversely, fellow Disney star Selena Gomez has been getting so heavily involved in charitable endeavors that she's been appointed the youngest Ambassador ever for UNICEF, a worldwide organization that focuses on underprivileged children.

"Every day 25,000 children die from preventable causes," said Gomez. "I stand with UNICEF in the belief that we can change that number from 25,000 to zero. I know we can achieve this because every moment UNICEF is on the ground providing children with the lifesaving assistance needed to ensure zero becomes a reality."

The Wizards of Waverly Place star isn't all talk, either:

She's heading off to Ghana this week on her first official field-mission for UNICEF. Said Caryl Stern, CEO of the company:

Culkin Calls Jackson Child Report 'Preposterous'

Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin has shot down a sensational U.K. newspaper report suggesting he is the biological father of Michael Jackson's youngest son Prince Michael II. 

The Sun published an article on Monday naming former child star Culkin, a close friend of the pop superstar, as the dad of the 7-year-old, aka Blanket. 

The boy was delivered via a surrogate, whose identity has never officially been disclosed. 

The King of Pop's death in June has sparked fresh speculation over the child's parentage. 

Culkin, who has yet to publicly speak about the death of his friend, is the latest to be linked to the controversy. But the actor's representative Michelle Bega has blasted the "preposterous" claims.

Jackson claimed to have fathered his two eldest children, Prince Michael, 12, and Paris, 11, with his second wife Deborah Rowe, but even that has come into question, with both British actor Mark Lester and Rowe's former boss, Jackson's dermatologist Dr. Arnold Klein, both suggesting they could be the biological fathers.

Former Baywatch star David Hasselhoff Hospitalized

David Hasselhoff has been hospitalized in Los Angeles Medical Center. "Mitch", former Baywatch star was taken on sunday to the hospital to have a minor surgery to remove something above his eye, according to the Associated Press. 

Representatives said that he will be out on monday.

Hasselhoff, 55, was treated in hospital last year October 2007 due to alcoholism.

Court documents released last week show Hasselhoff's divorce settlement calls for him to pay $25,000 a month to support ex-wife Pamela Bach and their two teenage daughters. Bach and Hasselhoff share joint custody. He and Bach were married in 1989 and divorced last 2006.

The Pussycat Dolls Break Up

Considering they've hated their lead singer for months, it's surprising it took so long for The Pussycat Dolls to call it quits.

But the all-girl group (who really hate it when you loosen up their buttons and then just front) has finally broken up, as Kimberly Wyatt told Great Britain's The Daily Mirror.

“The girls and I have just finished our huge world tour and are taking a break from the band and doing our own thing. We’re all concentrating on our own projects and deciding what the future will hold."

For Wyatt, that future will likely include more bashing of Nicole Scherzinger. We can't wait!

Lindsay Lohan Lost $2 Million is Jewelry

Lindsay Lohan could face legal action following claims she lost $2 million worth of borrowed jewels, according to a report today in The Sun (UK).

The supposed actress, 23, was loaned the bling by swanky Beverly Hills store XIV Karats two months ago. Then they recently wanted them back.

That's when Lohan said they had been stolen from her. Of course.

Lindsay's Hollywood Hills home was burglarized last weekend, with thieves making off with a safe as well as some handbags, photos and videos.

Yes, videos. A Lindsay Lohan sex tape should be leaked imminently.

Maybe it's a good thing she's changing addresses, as she seems to be robbed by miscreants or have the police called on her drunk ass about once every month.

While the burglars were caught on tape, they have yet to be brought to justice. Not that this will stop the jewels' owners from coming after Firecrotch.

"Lindsay claimed they had been stolen. They disappeared. XIV are not happy about it," a source said. "The jewels were in Lindsay's care and they were only on loan. If something is not resolved soon there will be legal action taken."

Lindsay's rep denied the report, which is not the first of its kind.

Christian Dior jewels worth around $400,000 vanished at a photo shoot with Lindsay in London. Her morals and values were ransacked long before that.

Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt: Sin City Partiers

Spending the weekend together in Sin City, Paris Hilton and Doug Reinhardt made a stop at Rogue for a “DJ Hero” party on Sunday evening (August 30). 

According to a source on the scene, Paris happily posed with the new video game hardware, which received design help from the late DJ AM, before the newly rekindled couple headed off to Body English at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for an appearance.

In related news, the courts ruled earlier today that Miss Hilton “may pursue her lawsuit against Hallmark Cards over its use of her picture and catchphrase “That’s hot” on a greeting card.”

According to Reuters reports, Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain said “the basic setting is the same: we see Paris Hilton, born to privilege, working as a waitress.” He added that Paris “has at least some probability of prevailing on the merits before a trier of fact.”

Jessica Simpson and Ken Paves Take Flight

Currently without a boyfriend to keep her company, Jessica Simpson recruited her BFF stylist Ken Paves to accompany her on a flight out of LAX Airport on Monday afternoon (August 31). 

The “Do You Know” singer sported a long blue coat, black tights, and baby blue heels as she offered up a big smile while passing through the departures terminal.

On the career front, Miss Simpson’s rep recently denied claims that Jess was lined up as a possible replacement on “American Idol” for Paula Abdul, telling press, “There’s no truth [to the story]. No one reached out to the show.”

And while “Idol” appears out of the question, the 29-year-old is currently set to star in her own VH1 series called “The Price of Beauty”.

Hayden Panettiere: Hiking with Her New Beau

Stepping out for a little exercise, Hayden Panettiere and her new boyfriend were spotted out hiking at Runyon Canyon in Hollywood on Monday (August 31). 

Wearing short shorts and a tank top, the “Heroes” hottie smiled for the cameras as she and Harry Morton walked downhill to her car following the day’s workout session.

In related news, Miss Panettiere is currently offering up a chance for one of her fans to bring along five friends to join her on a whale watching cruise in Dana Point, California.

Hayden is auctioning off the offer on eBay - with all proceeds set to go towards The Whaleman Foundation. The auction ends on Friday, September 4.
